COVID-19 Scotland's Strategic Framework
While the Scottish Government maintained a cautious approach throughout the COVID-19 pandemic formal restrictions have now ended. However, with case numbers still high in the community they continue to encourage caution - asking people not to have contact with other households while they are sick and to wear masks in crowded indoor settings and on public transport. Personally I remain cautious, still largely concentrating on outdoor events and small indoor gatherings.
Formal restrictions have now been lifted and events are taking place again. People are encouraged to wear mask on public transport and indoors in crowded spaces, although in practise it seems the majority of people are choosing not to wear them. Personally, I remain more cautious, particularly indoors and still prefer outdoor events and photoshoots. I recognise that different people have their own assessment of the risks.

Portraits, even of a family group, generally involve a small number of people and are therefore likely to be safer than a large event, even indoors.
- OUTDOOR PORTRAITS REMAIN THE SAFEST WAY TO TAKE PORTRAITS IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS OVER CLOSE CONTACT
- I WILL USE HAND SANITISER, PRACTISE PHYSICAL DISTANCING AND WEAR FACE MASKS AS REQUESTED
